On the occasion of 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Sepidar Association in Gothenburg, Sweden, held a seminar addressing this important issue. I had the honor of speaking at the event.
In my presentation, I spoke about the contributions of the two great Pahlavi kings to the empowerment of women in Iran. I also presented statistics on violence against women in Iran and proposed practical measures to address this widespread problem in an Iran after the Islamic Republic.
